Call for BoSD Early Career & Hot Topics Award Nominations

Nominate your manuscript for the BoSD Early Career Award

Springer Nature is sponsoring the Biology of Sex Differences (BoSD) Early Career Award for the best paper published in BoSD each year

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2027 awards:

• Award for articles published in BoSD from September 2025 through August 2026 
• Award will be given at OSSD 2027 - Winner will give talk at OSSD 2027 and receive a $1000 travel award.
• Nominee will be the first author or senior author on a paper published in BoSD - co-first authors can be nominated and will split the award/talk.
• Graduate students at time of manuscript submission OR
• Post-docs at time of manuscript submission OR
• Investigators up to 6 years after training completion (post-doctoral/residency) at time of award (OSSD meeting)

BoSD Hot Topics Awards 

The Society for Women’s Health Research is sponsoring four $500 travel awards – please self-nominate your paper published in BoSD!

To be eligible, your article must have been published in Biology of Sex Differences. You must attend the meeting in person and not participate in another session at the OSSD meeting. If it is part of a session that has been submitted for consideration, that's fine, but we will coordinate with the program committee to organize a session that allows as many people as possible to participate. It is also possible for another author on the manuscript to attend and present the article if you prefer.
